- Sanjay Tiwari, the complainant, alleged that the video depicts the actor pouring alcohol onto a cake, igniting it, and simultaneously uttering the phrase "Jai Mata Di!"
- The video is from Kunal Kapoor's Christmas brunch, where Ranbir, Alia, and their daughter Raha were present.
Further into the complaint
- The complainant Tiwari said in his complaint that in Hinduism, the fire god is usually invoked before other deities.
- The complaint by Tiwari said that Ranbir Kapoor and his family purposefully included intoxicants in their celebration of a different religious event, alongside another religious festival.
- He argued that the act of setting the cake on fire and chanting 'Jai Mata Di' upset his religious feelings.
- So far, no First Information Report (FIR) has been filed in this case against the Animal actor.
