JYP Entertainment, the label of K-pop girl band Twice, officially announced the tracklist for leader Jihyo's solo debut album 'Zone' on July 30.

Exploring Jihyo's solo debut

Jihyo's journey began as a trainee at the age of eight in 2005, and after ten years of training, she debuted as a member of Twice in 2015.

Since then, the group has risen to become a well-known all-girl K-pop sensation with nine talented members.

After much anticipation, JYP finally made Jihyo's solo debut official by posting the tracklist and release date - August 18, 2023.

Intriguingly, TWICE's Instagram page had been posting since June 4, featuring their World Tour of a single song rather than a solo debut. The official announcement was made on July 21, and the album's tracklist was unveiled on July 30.

The revealed tracklist posted by JYP showcased the title track as 'Killin Me Good,' with noteworthy details:

  • Jihyo personally added handwritten track names under the tracklist.
  • Impressively, three tracks in the album - 'Closer,' 'Room,' and 'Nightmare' - are entirely written by Jihyo.
  • Track 5, titled 'Don't Wanna Go Back,' features a collaboration between Jihyo and the talented artist Heize, and both contributed to its creation.
