The Flash star Ezra Miller has been charged with burglary in Stamford, Vermont, US. The complaint was filed on May 1 this year. This charge comes almost a year before Warner Brothers' plans to release The Flash, a $100-million film under the studio's DC franchise.

The police report states that on May 1, at 5.55 pm, Vermont State Police received word of a burglary complaint from a home in Stamford. Police found that several bottles of alcohol were taken from the residence while the homeowners were not present. After gathering statements and reviewing surveillance footage, police discovered sufficient evidence to accuse Miller of the felony of breaking into an unoccupied property.

Repeat offender: This is, however, not the first time that Ezra Miller, who goes by they/them, has made headlines for their criminal activities. Ironically enough, the star who acts as The Flash (founding member of Justice League) has been at the centre of various controversies this year. Their latest controversy involved their property, which, according to a Rolling Stone investigation, doubles as an unlicensed cannabis farm and houses several firearms.

Miller has been arrested twice in Hawaii, once for disorderly conduct and harassment and once more for second-degree assault.

Here's a look at all of Miller’s controversies (that we know of):

Miller's arrests and controversies have raised the question of whether or not the solo Flash movie will be released next year.
