Shah Rukh Khan makes Jawan a blockbuster with one dialogue: Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar

The much awaited trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has finally arrived. As expected, the film's trailer encapsulated all the defining moments of the movie, ranging from Shah Rukh in a bald look to a Shah Rukh in police uniform plus all the action. It looks like a typical masala action entertainer which the fans were eagerly waiting for.
What
Khan plays a double role in the movie Jawan, one as the father Vikram Rathore; and the other as his son, Aazad. The main villain in Jawan is South Superstar Vijay Sethupathi, who plays Kalee, a major weapons dealer.
Kalee crosses paths with Vijay Rathore (Shah Rukh Khan ) and all the drama begins. While Kalee is determined to destroy the world with his madness, Vikam Rathore is out to seek revenge against Kalee for his son.
The dialogue worth it all
The trailer takes fans by surprise when Shah Rukh says, "Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar (before you touch my son, speak to the father)."
Shah Rukh Khan kills two birds with a stone by this dialogue; and his dig is not lost on anyone. After all, off screen, Shah Rukh has had to deal with massive criticism, trolling and online attacks after his son Aryan Khan was arrested in an alleged drug bust onboard a cruise in Mumbai in 2021.
What is Jawan all about?
Coming to the movie, the story of Jawan revolves around a former commando and his team of six women who pull off different heists all around the country and hijack a Mumbai Metro train.
In a parallel story, the commander also learns that this long-lost son is being targeted by weapons dealer Kalee (Vijay Sethupathi), where he sets to save his son and make the government meet his demands.
The trailer also shows South actress Nayanthara, Sunil Grover, Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance), Priya Mani and Sanya Malhotra.
The film has been co-produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Varma and is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 300 crore.
Jawan follows Pathaan
After Pathaan’s phenomenal success, fans were eagerly waiting for Jawan, which was expected to release on June 2, 2023. However, due to some post-production issues, the movie was pushed for a release on September 7, 2023.
After watching the trailer, fans are all praise for Shah Rukh Khan.
