The new teaser for Loki Season 2 highlights the return of the God of Mischief, who is all set to baffle-up the timeline to defeat Kang - this time, with the TVA’s help.
Disney just dropped a fresh teaser trailer for the secind season of Loki - one of the most awaited Disney+ originals of all the Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) upcoming projects. The trailer showed a glimpse of Loki teaming up with Mobius, much like the previous season, to stop Kang from gaining full control over the multiverse.
The new trailer gave away several plot points that the series looks to follow this season and also a peak at new characters joining the fight alongside the familiar faces like Sylvie, Mobius, Loki and B-15.
The trailer also gave us a look at a variant of MCU’s new big bad Kang's 'Time Variant' - Victor Timely - played by Johnathan Majors, whose involvement in the MCU came under scrutiny after facing a lawsuit on the charges of misdemeanour assault.

Probably the most talked about addition to the series is Ke Huy Quan as Ouroboros, who’s nature of involvement in the storyline is yet to be disclosed. Quan recently won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Everything Everywhere All At Once, which gathered huge praise from both the audience and the critics. Fans are excited about the casting choice of Quan in the already popular series.

After the chaotic end of the last season, this teaser gave us a proper look at Sylvie - a variant of Loki played by Sophia Di Martino. We see her teaming up with Loki and his team in the fight against Kang, but with the events of last season as an example, it is difficult to say if Sylvie will stick to one cause.
We get a few new shots of Tom Hiddleston's titular character, which were a bit high on the action and time-slipping. Loki looks more serious than ever and this season might just be the canon which pushes the God of Mischief further towards the “good-guys” side.
Owen Wilson's Mobius, the amiable TVA agent who aided the mystically-chaotic protagonist throughout the initial season, is set to return in the upcoming episodes. However, given Loki's abrupt transition into an entirely distinct timeline as the first instalment concluded, it remains uncertain whether the Mobius glimpsed in the new teaser is the familiar and cherished one, or if it's an entirely different iteration of the character.
The new teaser addresses a significant challenge awaiting Loki upon his small screen comeback. It hints at his “time-slipping”, suggesting he's being yanked through time. For this version of Loki to effectively alert the universe to Kang's looming threat, he must secure stability before being transported to a time and location that renders his return to the TVA impossible.
The first episode of the six-episode series drops on Disney+ on October 6, 2023.
