2017
The Disney star and the Hungarian model met for the first time at a party, after which Dylan Sprouse slid into her Instagram DMs. And Barbara Palvin did not respond to his message for six months as she felt that she wasn't in the right mindset at the time.
June 2018
Dylan Sprouse had flown to China for a six-month shoot and Barbara who was excited to meet him, flew there spontaneously. It happened to be their first date! In an interview with People Now in 2019, Barbara explained, "I was supposed to work in China and then they cancelled the job. And I was like, 'Do you think that's crazy that I still want to go and see you?' Because I was so excited. And he was like 'Please come.'"

Dylan, being his girlfriend's OG cheerleader, attended and cheered for Barbara as she walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2018. (It was her first time back on the runway in six years)
During the pandemic
In his conversation with ET in May 2020, Dylan Sprouse gave a detailed insight into how the couple were quarantining together and the dynamic they had during the pandemic.
Sprouse said, "What we’ve come out noticing is that we’re super compatible. It’s like we know when to give each other space. We know when the other needs space. We’ve already divided labour around the house in certain ways. There’s things we do in the morning, there’s things we do at night. So, I think our relationship... is stronger than ever."

In the same video, Barbara Palvin opens up about being single for six years before she started dating the American actor. Palvin also says that 'it was worth the wait' as she 'found the perfect guy'. “I’m very much in love right now,” said Barbara.
