BTS's V and Suga open up about tough times in new Suchwita episode

BTS's V, also known as Kim Taehyung, made a guest appearance on the 18th episode of his bandmate Suga's show, "Suchwita" (Time to Drink with Suga), on September 11, and things got even better for fans.

In each episode of "Suchwita" with all BTS members, fans get to learn more about the group and reminisce about past events. This show gives fans a complete look at each of the BTS members as individuals.

On September 11th, V appeared on the 18th episode of Suga's show, "Suchwita" (Time to Drink with Suga).

• In this episode, they discussed various topics, including Taehyung's solo debut album, 'Layover,' the group's plans for their next phase, and the eagerly awaited BTS comeback in 2025.
• They also delved into "BTS: Bon Voyage," a traveling reality show featuring the group, and V revealed his desire to witness the Northern Lights with all the members once they reunite.

• Suga, a well-connected producer, mentioned that many in his industry circle consider Taehyung the "ultimate idol."

• He also noted that aspiring trainees and new idols often look up to Taehyung, confirming his status as the "Idol of Idols."

Suga and V reveal tough times for BTS with 'tears'

• Just before releasing "Fake Love" in 2018, the group faced a challenging period.

• V candidly opened up about his depression during the 2018 "Fake Love" era, how he stress-ate and gained weight, and even contemplated self-harm.

•  They believed they needed to create a song that reflected the challenges they had experienced.
• Co-written by Suga, J-Hope, and RM, the song 'Tears' represents a time when the members thought they might disband.

• While some might interpret the lyrics of "Tear" as a breakup song, Suga clarified that it was actually a message exchanged among the members.

During the episode, both of them laughed about how Suga had his unique way of comforting the BTS members.

Suga's 'I Love You' text

In 2018, BTS faced contract renewals and an uncertain future.

• Suga wrote "Tear," a song for members considering separation, and sent V and Jungkook a text with the words "I love you."

• V explained how this kind gesture deeply affected him, especially after the group's tough times. He was surprised because Suga rarely expressed such sentiments.
