It looks like Ariana Grande has moved on and found love again as she's now dating Ethan Slater, her co-star from the movie Wicked. The pop star and the Broadway star began dating recently, after both of them split from their respective partners.
Apparently, Ariana Grande and her now beau Ethan Slater met on the sets of Wicked, the filming of which began in late 2022.
The Positions singer is set to play the role of Glinda in Universal’s film adaptation of the popular Broadway musical Wicked and Ethan Slater, 31, will be playing the role of Boq, who is the love interest of Elphaba’s sister Nessarose. The movie is scheduled to release in November 2024.
Sources told TMZ that the two co-stars started dating several months ago during the production of the movies. A picture went viral in March, in which Grande and Slater were seen next to each other as the cast of Wicked was celebrating Michelle Yeoh’s Oscar win in London.

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have been separated since January this year and announced their divorce just a few days ago. The two were married for two years.
The Grammy award winner has also removed all her wedding photos from her Instagram account.
Things between the ex-couple remain amicable and they are still friends. It was a mutual decision to split up. Another issue was that the two were finding it difficult to find time to spend with each other because of their busy schedules.
Since the American pop star was working on the movie Wicked in England, the long distance had put a strain on their marriage as Dalton Gomez was still working in Los Angeles, a source told People magazine.
Amidst the news of their split, TMZ also reported that Dalton Gomez has been dating other people since the last few months and "it's fine" with Grande.
It remains unclear when Ethan Slater separated from his wife, his high school sweetheart, Lilly Jay. He married Lilly Jay in 2018 and the two had been together since 2012. The two have a son together, who was born in 2022.
Entertainment Tonight quoted a source as saying, "Ariana and Ethan recently started dating. They have a lot in common and have a lot of fun. They didn't start dating until both were broken up with their significant others."
Who is Ethan Slater?
The 31-year-old Broadway alum grew up in Silver Spring in Maryland, US. He attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. He is also a songwriter and composer.
Slater made his Broadway debut as the titular lead character in the SpongeBob SquarePants play from 2017 to 2018. He was also nominated for a Tony Award in 2018 for the play. Ethan Slater also received a Drama Desk Award for this role.
Before being cast in the adaption of the Broadway musical Wicked in December 2022, he has also played a role in musicals and plays like Camelot, Assasins, and Good Night, Oscar.
