After a series of upcoming projects from a variety of different franchises and platforms were announced at the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) 2022, with the event's return for the first time in three years, the Marvel Studios announcements at this year’s SDCC took Hall-H by storm, with some of the most exciting titles announced during their panel at the event.
After the blip: Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige released a detailed schedule of the upcoming phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that has been expanding rapidly ever since the culmination of the Phase 3 arc of the universe, with Avengers: Endgame. Marvel has dropped seven original series and six films ever since, continuing the story forward in the ‘post-blip’ (or post-Thanos wiping out half the universe) era as Phase 4.
The studio revealed that the ongoing Phase 4 will come to a close following their last two releases scheduled for the rest of this year:
The Multiverse Saga: Here is a timeline of the upcoming Marvel projects for Phase 5 and 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, dubbed the Multiverse Saga.
And this is just the start. Expect more exciting news, announcements and if we're lucky, then possibly even some teasers and trailers for the Multiverse Saga as Marvel Studios is set to return at this year's Disney's annual D23 Expo, in September.
