23 Hollywood movies to look forward to in 2023

From streaming releases on Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ Hotstar to the films playing at the theatres near you, we have compiled a list of streaming and theatrical releases for you to go through this year

Starting the year with a fresh start, here’s a reset for our movie calendars for 2023:

Magic Mike’s Last Dance (February 10)

Mike Lane takes to the stage once again when a business deal that went bust leaves him broke and bartending in Florida. Hoping for one last hurrah, Mike heads to London with a wealthy socialite who lures him with an offer he can't refuse -- and an agenda all her own. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Pt 1 (July 24)

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is an upcoming American action spy film written, produced, and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. It is the sequel to Mission: Impossible – Fallout and is the seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible film series.

Barbie (July 21)

After being expelled from Barbieland for being a less than perfect-looking doll, Barbie sets off for the human world to find true happiness.

Beau is Afraid

Beau Is Afraid is described as a “decades-spanning surrealist horror film set in an alternate present,” Phoenix plays an “extremely anxious but pleasant-looking man who has a fraught relationship with his overbearing mother and never knew his father.” When his mother dies, he makes a journey home that involves some wild supernatural threats”.

Maestro

Maestro is an upcoming American biographical drama film based on the life of Leonard Bernstein and directed by Bradley Cooper from a screenplay he co-wrote with Josh Singer. It is produced by Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, and Todd Phillips, as well as Cooper.

Napoleon 

Napoleon is an upcoming epic historical drama film directed and produced by Ridley Scott and written by David Scarpa. It stars Joaquin Phoenix as Napoleon and depicts the French leader's rise to power. The film is scheduled to be released by Apple Studios on Apple TV+ as an Apple original film

Asteroid City

Asteroid City is an upcoming American romantic comedy-drama film written, directed, and produced by Wes Anderson. The cast has been described as being "larger than most other Anderson films that are ensemble in nature." World-changing events spectacularly disrupt the itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention.

Killers of the Flower Moon

Killers of the Flower Moon is an upcoming American Western crime drama film directed by Martin Scorsese and with a screenplay by Eric Roth and Scorsese, based on the best-selling 2017 non-fiction book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann, which is based on the series of 1920s Oklahoma murders in the Osage Nation committed after oil was discovered on tribal land.

The Killer

The Killer is an upcoming American neo-noir action thriller film directed by David Fincher and written by Andrew Kevin Walker, based on the French graphic novel series of the same name by Alexis Nolent. It stars Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton.
