Shark Tank India invited budding entrepreneurs to seek investment in exchange for equity (a percentage of their business). If impressed by the business idea, the Sharks (existing business moguls) made a deal and decided to invest their money. The first season of Shark Tank India just wrapped up last week. The show ended with a heartwarming pitch by Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal.
On the show, we saw entrepreneurs of different age groups - from the 20s to 50s and 60s. Participants also came from different parts of the country, both remote and metropolitan. A handful of startups managed to get a deal from all the Sharks. However, many had to leave the show empty-handed. Then there were those pitches that left both viewers and the Sharks amazed.
A total of 7 Sharks were present on Shark Tank India:
1. Ashneer Grover, Managing Director and Co-founder of BharatPe
2. Peyush Bansal, Co-founder and CEO of Lenskart
3. Aman Gupta, Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of boAt
4. Anupam Mittal, Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com and People Group
5. Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals
6. Vineeta Singh, CEO and co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics
7. Ghazal Alagh, Co-founder and Chief Mama of MamaEarth

A total of 117 entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas.
Out of 117, 67 pitches received a cheque from the Sharks.
Now the question is:
Let’s give you all the answers here.
Here’s a list from highest to lowest investment on Shark Tank India.
WHO INVESTED THE MOST ON SHARK TANK INDIA?
1. AMAN GUPTA: Rs 9.358 crore in 28 deals
The boAtman Aman Gupta made the highest investment on the show. He invested a total of Rs 9.358 crore in 28 deals.
As he mentioned many times on the show, he wanted to support young entrepreneurs. So, he gave many deals to young poeple.
2. PEYUSH BANSAL: Rs 8.297 crore in 27 deals
In terms of maximum investments, No. 2 is Peyush Bansal. Despite the fact that he was not present during the initial weeks, Peyush Bansal managed to invest Rs 8.297 crore in 27 deals.
His deal with Jugadu Kamlesh won everyone’s heart. If you were to ask, "Who is your favourite Shark?", Peyush Bansal would be the most common answer.

On No. 3 is Namita Thapar, who invested Rs 6.383 crores in 22 deals.
