Warner Bros pauses projects with Ezra Miller. Twitter hits back with Amber Heard
Ezra Miller, popularly known as Warner Bros's Flash from the DCEU and Credence Barebone from the Fantastic Beast series, was arrested at a karaoke bar in Hilo, Hawaii.
WHAT HAPPENED: The charges against Miller, who uses the pronouns they/them, are of them yelling obscenities, grabbing a mic from a singing woman, and lunging at a man playing darts. They were arrested on March 28.
Hawaii Police Assistant Chief Kenneth Quiocho said that the song in question that aggravated Ezra was Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's Shallow.

Quiocho also said that Ezra had been the cause of at least 10 complaints made at the Hilo police station in Hawaii. The complaints include Ezra filming people at a gas station, refusing to leave the sidewalk area of a restaurant and arguing with people.
After Ezra was arrested at Margarita Village, Hawaii, and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, they were released after paying a US $500 bail. But it doesn't end there. Soon after they were released on bail, Hilo police station was called again by a couple, asking advice on how to remove Ezra from their property.
As per court records, a Hawaiian couple filed for a temporary restraining order against Ezra on March 29. The complaint says that Ezra burst into their room and threatened the male victim by saying, "I will bury you and your s**t wife." The complaint also accuses Ezra of stealing some of their belongings, including a passport and wallet. Ezra was allegedly living at the couple's hostel.
In simple words, Ezra took inspiration from every Hangover movie ever made.
REPEAT OFFENDER: But this isn't Ezra's first 'stunt'. Back in April 2020, a video emerged of Ezra choking a woman at the Prikið Kaffihús bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. The seven-second video shows Ezra being annoyed with a woman dancing near them.
They then went on to say, "Oh, you wanna fight? That’s what you wanna do?" to the young woman, who appears to be jokingly preparing herself for a fight and is seen smiling. But before anything could happen, Ezra holds her neck and pushes her into a blue bin nearby and then while holding her neck, throws her to the ground. The man shooting the video suddenly stops recording and can be heard saying, "Whoa, bro. Bro. Bro."
At the time, production giant Warner Bros took no action against Ezra. But now with his activities in Hawaii, WB is starting to re-think Ezra's future with the brand as Flash. On March 30, executives at the Warner Bros' studio held an emergency meeting to discuss Ezra's future and sources tell Rolling Stone that the general consensus was to put all future projects with Ezra on pause.
It is not yet known whether this decision includes the individual Flash movie, releasing in June 2023.
Sources also told Rolling Stone that Ezra is known to have frequent meltdowns on set. Nothing violent, but many times Ezra was seen "losing it". The source said that, "Ezra would get a thought in his head and say, 'I don’t know what I’m doing'."
ENTER AMBER HEARD: Warner Bros' response to Ezra is justified and can also be called 'trendy', but fans on the Internet are enraged that Amber Heard, who plays Mera in Aquaman, did not receive the same treatment from the studio, due to her ongoing domestic violence case with Johnny Depp.
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp got married in 2011 and filed for divorce in 2012, on accounts of domestic violence. The divorce was finalised in January 2017 and Amber released an op-ed piece with the Washington Post in December 2018.

While at the time Amber accused Johnny Depp of being verbally and physically abusive towards her, in 2018, Depp sued Heard over her op-ed piece.
The court document read, "Mr Depp never abused Ms Heard. Her allegations were false against him when they were made in 2016."
The trial in the defamation case is expected to begin in Virginia, US, on April 11, 2022. Amber's witness list included actor James Franco and Tesla boss Elon Musk, while Johnny's witnesses include actors Paul Bettany and Winona Ryder. Court TV announced that they would be live-telecasting the trial.
