Another news-day and another major male celebrity brought down by decades of sexual assault. Every time this happens, my mind goes through stages.
First, I can't believe that the particular individual name was a creepy assaulter/harasser.
Second, I can't believe that I'm surprised. Indeed, I have found the last two months and the whole #metoo movement completely eye-opening. In act three of the play Our Town, one of the characters exclaims, "That's what it was to be alive. To move about in a cloud of ignorance." and that's how I feel, as if I have been ignorant my whole life of this malignancy in our midst.
So, of course, I tried to write a funny song about this very unfunny topic...
