Director reveals for first time: Why Kattapa killed Baahubali

For a good part of 2015, scores of Indian film buffs were busy cracking an epic mystery. When they weren't asking for a refund for watching Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale in the theatre, loyal Bollywood fans were losing sleep over why Kattappa killed Baahubali in Baahubali-The Beginning.

Why would a royal slave kill the King? Kind of obvious, one would think, but the director of the epic, and now National Award-winning film, thinks otherwise.
