A 25-year-old US citizen's Facebook post alleging that the fast food restaurant chain KFC had served him a "fried rat" instead of fried chicken, went viral on social media.

In his post, Devorise Dixon claims that the outlet manager had accepted that it was indeed a rat and apologised to him.

The Facebook post went viral on various social media platforms. Many people from around the world, including India, started posting on his Facebook wall thanking him for bringing the news out. They also said that they will discourage anyone from visiting a KFC outlet.
