Modiji's degree gets third degree treatment on Twitter

The controversy surrounding PM Modi's educational qualification has refused to die down for over a week now.

After Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal accused Modi of lying about his educational qualifications, the BJP fielded its top leaders, party chief Amit Shah and finance minister Arun Jaitley to settle the matter once and for all.

The two released the prime minister's BA and MA degress and accused Kejriwal of "defaming the PM" and asked him to "apologise to the nation".

However, the matter was far from over. Within an hour, the AAP hit back claiming that the certificates displayed by the BJP were forged.

"The certificates made public by the BJP has discrepancies. They must be investigated," said AAP leader Ashutosh in a press conference.

Social media erupted over the issue with #KejriwalSaySorry being the top trend on Twitter after BJP released Modi's degrees. However, this was soon overtaken by the #PMfarziDegree after AAP claimed the degrees were fake.
