Never have we ever seen this kind of stress on immunity. As India battles the Second Wave of Covid-19, the focus is back on how strong your immunity is and what you can do to strengthen it further. Immunity building is a process. None of it can happen overnight, of course, but there's no harm in starting somewhere.
Our recco for the day is Mint Lassi, a drink that can serve two purposes: a) help strengthen your immunity, and b) cool you while the temperature outside soars.
What you need:
Curd - 300 ml
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Mint, dried - 1 tbsp
Ice - 2 or 3 cubes
Lemon slices - for garnishing
How to:
Pour the curd in a container.
Add the mint and sugar.
Mix it well.
Add the ice cubes.
Pour in a glass and serve. (You can add a slice of lemon if you want your drink to look as good as it tastes.)
Tip: You can replace the sugar with jaggery for a healthier version of the Mint Lassi.
