Jennifer Garner files for divorce from Ben Affleck after finding the Batman star indulging in hanky panky with the hired help.
Amber Heard decides she's had enough of being assaulted by Johnny Depp and files for divorce.
Now, Angelina Jolie decides she has had enough of Brad Pitt's weed and alcohol indulgences and how he's raising their six kids.
Why not? Unlike political wives who often have to grin and bear it, inevitably using the infidelity to launch their own political campaign (Hillary Clinton in real life and Scandal's Mellie Grant on TV), Hollywood wives have more character.
And independent incomes.
Jolie and Pitt's combined fortune is supposed to be $500 million and Jolie doesn't want a penny from Pitt.
What she does want is the legal custody of her six children though and why not?
Whatever the reason for the split - tabloids claim it is the gorgeous Marion Cotillard doing to her what she did to Jennifer Aniston - it is clear that Jolie was the lead parent.
Whether it was the double mastectomy because she wanted to be healthy for her children or the removal of ovaries, Jolie has always done everything with her children in mind. Including marrying Pitt two years ago after being with him for over a decade.

She's 41 and has already been married thrice, so who's to say love is not waiting for her again in the age of Elizabeth Gilbert?
Here's why we think Jolie has done the smart thing by striking out on her own:
1. Pitt is 52 and while he's looking good for a man of his age, hey, that beauty is bound to fade. Life is not a Benjamin Button movie. Why carry excess baggage when you can fly solo?
2. She wants to conquer the world and being UN Ambassador for the refugee crisis is a great way to lay the ground work for a life in politics.
3. She directs, she acts, she models, she slays the red carpet. Is there anything she cannot do without a man by her side?
4. She is being portrayed as the jealous woman by Pitt's people, who suggest that she saw Marion Cotillard as herself when Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston. Aniston, not surprisingly, calls this karma. But if Jolie is upset about the unfair typecasting of her as the maneater, she's not the kind to complain.
5. She doesn't want his money - she has enough of her own, thanks very much - but she is looking for custody of the children.
6. She's been there, done that, even put her marriage through the strain of an onscreen unhappy couple. What next is there for a high achiever to do?
