What are the new features? Instagram is testing two features that allow users to control what they want to see on your feed. In a blogpost, the Meta-owned app announced that the two features will help you shape your Instagram experience.
To help you optimise your feed, Instagram will offer a number of controls and methods that can help you see more of what you want on your Instagram feed.
1. Multi-select ‘Not Interested’: In the trial, Instagram is trying to let users mark multiple posts as ‘Not Interested’ in the 'Explore' section. The app will then refrain from showing similar content in future.
2. Restrict certain content with more options: With the yet-to-be launched features, Instagram will also let the users hide content. The feature will let you hide content containing certain words, phrases or emojis in the captions or hashtags in suggested posts. This will be amplified in India too.
