Apple kicks off iPhone 15 sale in India, mile-long queues greet Mumbai and Delhi stores
The iPhone 15 series made its debut on store shelves this morning, drawing long lines of excited iPhone enthusiasts eager to get their hands on the latest Apple offerings: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
According to ANI, many customers had been waiting since 3 AM, well before dawn, outside Apple stores in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex and New Delhi's Select CITYWALK.

The official sale of the new iPhones did not commence until 8 am.
Early birds catch the new iPhone 15
Delhi store
- In Delhi's Select CITYWALK, one of India's two Apple Stores, eager buyers formed long queues as early as 4 AM, with lines extending to the outer parts of the mall.
- Rahul, the first customer at the Apple Store in Select CITYWALK Mall in Saket, shared his excitement, stating, "It was a fantastic experience. I had been in line since 4 am and finally purchased the phone. I wanted to get the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I wanted it before everyone else," he added in an interview with ANI.
Mumbai store
- Similar scenes unfolded at India's first Apple store in the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, with multiple queues forming outside the store.
- Aan, who flew in from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, told ANI, "I arrived yesterday and was at the store at 5-6 o'clock. A few months ago, I was at the store opening, where I was fortunate enough to meet Tim Cook for the second time."
- Customers who pre-ordered are receiving their new iPhones instantly, according to an X user.
In addition to the iPhone 15 series launch, the latest Apple Watch Series and AirPods Pro with USB-C functionality are also available for sale today. The Apple Watch Series 9 starts at Rs 41,900, appealing to those seeking both style and functionality. For budget-conscious buyers, the Apple Watch SE (2nd gen) is available at a reasonable Rs 29,900.

- iPhone 15 (128 GB): Rs 79,900
- iPhone 15 Plus (128 GB): Rs 89,900
- iPhone 15 Pro (128 GB): Rs 1,34,900
- iPhone 15 Pro Max (256 GB): Rs 1,59,900
Customers using HDFC Bank Cards to purchase the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max can enjoy an instant discount of Rs 6,000. Meanwhile, the non-Pro models, iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, come with a cashback of Rs 5,000 when using the same card. These discounts also apply to older iPhone models, albeit with lower discounts.
