5 ChatGPT-like AI chatbots you can use

ChatGPT by OpenAI took the world by storm since its launch in November last year and reached 100 million users in just two months. Everyone from students to professionals started using it for everything they could think of. But now there are some new tech companies that are challenging its superiority.

No doubt, that the hype about ChatGPT is worth it, but it also has some drawbacks and limitations. While ChatGPT can provide information and answer questions, it does not have built-in access to real-time data or the ability to verify the accuracy of the information it generates.

Not all of its features are free and the AI bot is sensitive to the phrasing of the input and can give different responses based on slight rephrasing of the same question. It may not consistently provide the same answer when the query is presented in a different form.

So, if you are looking for other ChatGPT-like AI chatbots, here are some:

1. Bard

It has an interface similar to ChatGPT, so users that have already used ChatGPT can learn how to use it in no time. Bard is developed by Google, and it is still in its experiential phase, but here's where it is better:

  • Bard has many useful features like editing questions and restarting conversations at any point.
  • It can generate text, translate languages, create content, and provide clear and concise answers.
  • It also responds quickly, making it efficient for obtaining information on various topics.
  • Has a more updated database than ChatGPT
  • It will give you three alternate responses for every question.

2. Bing Chat

Microsoft Bing’s new chatbot, Bing Chat, currently has integrated GPT4, OpenAI's most advanced and more powerful language model. How can you use it? Bing Chat is a part of the search engine Bing, while ChatGPT is an isolated experience.

Here's how Bing Chat is different (better) from ChatGPT:

  • You can use GPT-4 for free, unlike ChatGPT, which is paid.
  • Bing can perform web searches and offer links and recommendations.
  • Unlike ChatGPT, it can generate images by including DALL·E (another AI)

3. Co-Pilot

One of the most common uses of ChatGPT is for coding, but you can not always get a satisfactory code from ChatGPT due to its inability to give real-life suggestions. CoPilot is an AI-powered code completion tool by Github that helps developers write code more efficiently.

Its features:

  • CoPilot has the capability to autocomplete code by leveraging contextual understanding, allowing it to attempt to fill in missing parts of your code while you are programming.
  • Large codebase support

Copilot, just like ChatGPT is free to try, but paid subscriptions start from $10 (Rs 700 approx) per month.

4. Kipper.ai

If you go through the Instagram page of Kipper, this chatbot claims to be better than ChatGPT for writing essays.

Here are some major differences:

  • It claims that it creates plagiarism-free content
  • It also cites sources when taking references from any article.

5. Chatsonic

Chatsonic and ChatGPT have always been compared, and some claim that Chatsonic is a better option.

Here's why Chatsonic is better/different:

  • It has a better interface than ChatGPT
  • Chatsonic offers a high level of customization, allowing to you to generate answers that meet users' specific needs.
  • Chatsonic has voice command recognition.
