*Spoilers alert*

  • "Strong Girl Bong-soon" is a drama where the females in the family inherit superhuman strength, but if they misuse this power, they lose their strength.

  • In the 2017 drama, there's a scene where Bong-soon, portrayed by actress Park Bo-young, carries the male lead, played by actor Park Hyung-sik, to save him from the antagonists.

  • Traditionally, we have been accustomed to the hero saving the princess, but this drama broke that stereotype and demonstrated that a strong woman like Bong-soon can also perform this feat with her superhuman strength.

History repeats

  • Episode 5 of the ongoing drama "Strong Girl Nam-soon" finally showed the audience the iconic Reverse Princess Carry, and K-drama fans know that the drama would be incomplete without this scene.
  • Nam Soon is like a superhero for gender equality and empowerment, and, just like the 2017 drama, the current series includes this iconic scene, breaking stereotypes.

She's all about breaking free from societal rules and living life to the max, especially for women. Her awesome achievements show that your gender should never hold you back.

It's like she's shouting from the rooftops that strength doesn't care if you're a guy or a girl – anyone can smash through those societal expectations!

The main leads of the 2017 drama also made a cameo in the new "Strong Nam-soon" drama, which excited fans and turned it into a trending must-watch show.

The drama is currently receiving a lot of positive responses from the K-drama fandom, and new episodes premiere every Saturday and Sunday.
