All Apple enthusiasts and iPhone lovers go into a frenzy every time a new iPhone is released. This time, however, it has been shocking to see the long queues, the chaos, and hundreds of people that were eagerly waiting outside the Apple store in Dubai Mall, UAE, to purchase the new iPhone.
What
- On Tuesday, September 12, Apple launched its iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and people could not wait to get their hands on one.
- Hundreds of people that had been eagerly waiting to buy their new shiny iPhones queued in front of the Apple store in Dubai Mall in the UAE on September 22, as soon as the official sales began.
The viral videos
Take a look at the videos of people who were waiting hours in the queue to buy an iPhone 15, to running towards the store as though they could get it for free:
- In another video, you could see security staff trying to manage the crowd. The crowd was seen getting out of control and it looked as though there was a stampede.
- Also, you'd be surprised to see people running to purchase their new iPhone 15... like they did not have to pay a massive amount of money to buy one.

Long queues in India too
People in India couldn't keep calm either.
- There were mile-long queues in stores in Delhi and Mumbai on September 22, the day the iPhone sales kicked off in India.
- At Delhi's Select Citywalk mall, one of India's two Apple Stores, eager buyers formed long queues as early as 4 am, with lines extending to the outer parts of the mall.
- According to ANI, many customers had been waiting outside the Apple store in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex since 3 am that day.
And, the official sale of the new iPhones did not start until 8 am.
