Jadavpur University girls can't be molested because they kiss men openly: Seriously, ABVP?

Remember the "wild sex and drugs" dossier on JNU? Well, in a similar vein, if Suman Dutta, an ABVP leader, is to be believed, Jadavpur University women students "cannot be molested" because they "kiss men openly" and because "they have no shame".

As the ruckus over the screening of Vivek Agnihotri's Buddha In A Traffic Jam, featuring Anupam Kher, spilled over and some women students in JU accused ABVP workers of molesting them, Suman Dutta stunned all with his wild proclamations that because JU women "kiss men" and (may) have a sex life, they couldn't be sexually assaulted.

Students protest AVBP intrusion at Jadavpur University.

In this video, Dutta was heard saying:

"Through the 'kissing' revolution, they have taught women to wear just underwear. So undergarment-wearing comrade and kissing comrades, just want to ask you, if you are a father and a mother someday, and your daughter is kissing some other man in front of you, will you still say all of this?"

This slut-shaming of women students is very similar to the manner in which the JNU scholars were pilloried in public, being branded promiscuous anti-nationals.

ABVP workers clash with leftwing students and cops at Jadavpur Univerity.

Earlier, Subir Haldar, another ABVP activist was heard saying that antinationals at Jadavpur University should have their legs chopped off.

While Jadavpur University students have been demanding action against the perpetrators, it seems ABVP leaders are more interested in insulting leftwing female scholars and faculty at JNU, even as they force everyone to chant Bharat Mata Ki Jai.

It seems ABVP, which has barely any presence in West Bengal, is trying its best to make an impact with its typical communal brand of agitation.
