Drought in Maharashtra: Water for lives

9am: In a Mumbai apartment. It was the security guard. "Madam there would be no water from 10am to 5pm."

The next 30 minutes witnessed unprecedented frenzy, with members running helter skelter to all the water outlets in the apartment, with whatever vessels they could, to tide over the seven horrifying hours of "no water"! 

Marathwada: Days, months and even years of no water. Just empty vessels, nowhere to go to fill those.

Water doesn't flow from the taps any more. Turn it and you will hear the cries of hundreds who have taken their lives. Died due to the multiple attacks of nature, mafia and political apathy.
