PUBG and Pyaar Impossible makes Pakistani woman sneak in to India in search of Greater Noida man

A Pakistani woman, Seema Ghulam Haider (27), made a daring journey through Nepal to enter India and meet her lover in Greater Noida. The two had connected through the popular gaming app PUBG Mobile.

In May, Seema arrived in India accompanied by her four children and settled in Greater Noida's Rabupura area with her partner Sachin (22). The couple had initially developed a deep bond while playing PUBG Mobile and had met in Nepal earlier in January. It was during this meeting that they decided to start a life together in India.

Unfortunately, their plans were cut short when local authorities apprehended them before they could establish themselves in their new home.

How they were caught

The couple's capture occurred when they sought legal advice regarding Seema's marriage and residency status. As the lawyer questioned Seema about her Indian visa, she reacted suspiciously. The lawyer, sensing something amiss, asked one of his associates to discreetly monitor her activities. Upon discovering that Seema was living with her four children and Sachin, the associate promptly informed the local police.

Sachin, employed at a grocery store in Greater Noida, and Seema were subsequently arrested by the Greater Noida police. The authorities also took custody of Seema's four children. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Greater Noida), Saad Miya Khan, confirmed the detention, stating, "The Pakistani woman and the local man have been apprehended, and the woman's four children are in police custody."

The couple arrested

The Greater Noida police has arrested the couple, and have also taken custody of the four children.

“The Pakistani woman and the local man have been detained. The woman’s four children are also in police custody,” Saad Miya Khan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Greater Noida), told PTI.

Victim of domestic abuse?

According to Seema's account, she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse in Pakistan, stating that she endured physical abuse from her husband over trivial matters. She also mentioned that her husband resides in the UAE and that her brother serves in the Pakistani army.

The police have initiated further investigations into these claims. It is worth noting that this incident is not the first of its kind, as there have been previous instances where Pakistani individuals illegally entered India to be with their lovers.

Lovers who met on Ludo gaming app

Another case involved a Pakistani woman named Ikra Jivani (19) and her Indian lover, Mulayam Singh Yadav, whom she had met on the online gaming app LUDO.

After dating for four years, Ikra entered India in September 2022 via Bihar's Birgunj border without informing her parents.

Both Ikra and Mulayam were presented at a Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) for investigation. Once it was established that neither of them had a criminal history, they were released. Ikra was eventually repatriated to Pakistan and reunited with her parents through the Attari-Wagah border.
