21-year-old speedcuber, Max Park, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2, is now a part of the Guinness World Records Hall of Fame inductees.

Known as 'The Wonder of Cubing World', Park broke a Guinness World Record by solving a 3x3x3 Rubik's cube in just 3.13 seconds on June 11. He beat the world record that was previously set by China's Yusheng Du in 2018, who solved the cube in 3.47 seconds.

What is Guinness World Record Hall Of Fame?

The Hall of Fame includes the world's most iconic Guinness World Records title holders and includes history's most incredible achievements. Max Park is one of the eight Hall of Fame inductees. He's served as a role model for people around the world and has not let autism get in the way of achieveing several prestigious world records and achievements for speed cubing.

Some other famous names who have made it to the GWR 2023 Hall of Fame include Beyoncé for being 'The Queen of femme Pop' and Cristiano Ronaldo for securing 'Most goals in men's internationals.'

Max is also an official ambassador for Rubik's.

This Korean-American cubing prodigy has also introduced a new trend to the cubing world called 'A0100' that is a key test in cubing to measure how good someone is. A0100 involves solving the cube 100 times, picking out the best and worst times, and calculating the average time.

Here's a video of him breaking the world record:

Park is a speedcubing legend. He had previously solved the cube in 3.63 seconds, which had put him in the second place, after Yusheng Du solved the puzzle in 3.47 seconds.

The 21-year-old wowed everyone by setting a new world record in the 3x3x3 single solve competition. The moment he broke the record, everyone was cheering and blown away by his timing shown on the scoreboard.

Max holds several speedcubing Guinness World Records. He holds both single solve as well as average solve world records for the 4x4x4 cube, 5x5x5 cube, and 7x7x7 cube.

Max set the 7x7x7 cube single record in 1 minute 35 seconds in 2022. Park has won over 400 rubik's cube competitions and has also featured in a Netflix documentary in 2020 called 'The Speed Cubers'.

Park's parents Schawn and Miki said that solving Rubik's cube has been a "good therapy" for him and had helped him develop. They further added that, "there was a time when Max couldn't even open water bottles, but he showed interest in solving Rubik's cubes."
