New WhatsApp texts show Andrew Tate forced women to make porn and held them hostage
One of the world's most revolting personalities, also known as misogynist influencer, Andrew Tate, has been denied bail by a Romania court. Tate and his brother Tristan Tate are facing charges of rape and human trafficking. And court documents have revealed more nauseating details.
We remember the day, Andrew Tate paid (and is still paying) a heavy price for trolling climate activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter. What followed seemed like Karma catching up to the influencer through his favourite medium - social media.
What's new? Andrew Tate and his brother have been remanded to police custody till February 27 after his bail plea arguing for a house arrest was rejected by a Bucharest court.
- The Tates have hired Tina Glandian as their lawyer who is well known to have represented other controversial celebrities like Mike Tyson in rape charges, Chris Brown for assaulting Rihanna, etc.
- So far, Andrew and Tristan Tate have not been charged and held under suspicion.

Details that have come out so far: According to a Reuters report, Andrew Tate lured a Moldovan woman on the pretext of marriage, raped on twice in March 2022, and forced her to make pornographic content on OnlyFans.
- Tate allegedly trafficked the Moldovan woman from London to Romania after he met her on Instagram.
- Prosecutors have alleged Tate and his brother used the "lover boy" scheme to lure several women into their "webcam business", something Tate has regularly boasted about on social media.
Here is one video where he speaks about making nearly $600,000 a month with 75 women working for his "webcam business" in four different places.
- The Tates are also alleged to have used "threats of physical violence and psychological and verbal pressure" to hold the women hostage at his residence in Bucharest.
- Currently, court documents cite two cases of women being held hostage by the Tate brothers.
- One is between Andrew Tate and a Moldovan woman, the other is between Tristan Tate and an American woman.
The WhatsApp messages between Andrew Tate and the Moldovan woman:
January 2022: Andrew Tate met the woman on Instagram.
February 4:
February 7: Tate texts the woman about the prospect of her moving to Romania after flirting with her for nearly a month.
- The woman raised concerns about Tate's nature of work after coming across some videos online. Tate had openly said on social media that his work includes women performing live sex acts on paid platforms.
To this Tate replied with:
- Tate said he will meet her in Romania after taking care of some work in Prague.
He texted her about marriage too:
When the Moldovan woman reached his house in Bucharest, Romania from London, this is what she messaged Tate:
- Tate said that the women worked for "Only Fans", a paid platform often to access pornographic or erotic content.
The Moldovan woman was also reportedly asked to make "videos" for TikTok:
- Another exchange of messages showed that the Tates were allegedly keeping the women, including the Modovan woman hostage at their Bucharest house.
The American victim and Tristan Tate: The duo met on Reddit in 2021 and subsequently met in Miami where there were ideas dropped of visiting and also moving to Romania.
Messages between the victim and Tristan Tate showed this:
- The woman said she was "very afraid" of the Tates, and was told that even if she managed to leave, they would make sure she returns to Romania.
How did the Tates make money? With regards to the "webcam business", court documents say they took 50% of the women's earnings to support themselves.
Of course, the Tate brothers deny all of the above allegations. They say that the sex was consensual and not rape and that they never forced anyone into anything. They also claimed the women were never held hostage and they could leave whenever they wanted to. Along with the Tate brothers, two other women have also been taken into custody for serving as their accomplices.
