An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale struck Nepal in the wee hours of November 9. Tremors were also felt as far as Delhi.

- At least 6 people have been killed in Nepal after a house collapsed. Rescue operations are currently underway.
- There were three earthquakes reported in Nepal and nearby areas in the last 24 hours.
- 8.52 pm (Wednesday): The first earthquake of 4.9 was reported in Nepal
- 1.57 am: Second earthquake measuring 3.5 reported in Nepal
- 2.12 am: A third earthquake measuring 6.3 was recorded in Nepal, tremors of which were felt in Delhi NCR
- Nepal's Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba tweeted his condolences to the family of the victims.
Residents of Delhi NCR took to Twitter to report the tremors they felt, re-checking whether others also felt the same. Several had to rush out of their homes and apartments in the middle of the night due to the shaking.
