TV actress Madhura Naik said that Hamas has killed her cousin sister and brother-in-law in front of their two children in Israel.

Naik shared a video on Instagram describing the tragic incident.

What happened

  • On October 7, Naik's cousin Odaya and her husband were brutally killed by Hamas militants in front of their two children, Naik said in the video.
  • According to Madhura, her family members were found dead the following day, Sunday, and she described the incident as "brutal".
  • She said that her family is in pain because of what's happening in Israel.
  • Naik is a member of the small Jewish community in India. While her father is Hindu, her mother is a Jew.

Madhura also talked about the suffering in Israel due to the conflict with Hamas.

She mentioned that people like her are being targeted because of their religion, and she clarified that self-defence is not terrorism.

"Yesterday, I posted a picture of my sister and family for the world to see our pain and I was shocked to see how deep pro-Palestinian Arab propaganda runs. I was shamed, humiliated and targeted for being Jewish."

Many children have lost their parents, and some have even lost their lives due to ongoing rocket attacks and airstrikes. This war has brought death, fear, and widespread devastation to both sides of the conflict.
