In a new tweet from Wednesday (May 10), Musk revealed that people can "DM reply to any message in the thread (not just most recent) and use any emoji reaction" on the latest version of the app.
He added that "release of encrypted DMs V1.0 should happen tomorrow". This basically implies that Musk or not anyone from the Twitter will be able to see through your DMs, a primary concern in a post-Mark Zuckerberg reality with cyber privacy being seen increasingly under threat.

To quote Musk's tweet,
Twitter is also walking in the footsteps of Instagram to introduce video and voice chat support.
"Coming soon will be voice and video chat from your handle to anyone on this platform, so you can talk to people anywhere in the world without giving them your phone number," Musk tweeted.
