Nowadays, it seems like every celebrity is venturing into the clothing business, with new brands being launched almost every week. Indian celebrities have also joined this trend. The biggest examples are Deepika Padukone's makeup brand "82e" and Aryan Khan's new line of "street luxury wear" called "D'YAVOL X".
The brand made its Instagram debut just a week ago, on April 25, and has since created quite a stir on the Internet. However, since it claims to be a luxury brand, the prices of the collection definitely made the internet angry, but despite the backlash, (ironically enough) the brand sold its most expensive-limited edition piece (Rs 2,00,550), the X signature which was worn by Shah Rukh Khan during the advertisement within hours of its launch.
5 days after the debut, the brand went live on April 30, and here are the prices: From a jacket worth over a whopping Rs 2 lakh, a white T-shirt with a printed design priced at Rs 24,400 and a hoodie worth Rs 45,500, the prices left internet users surprised.
Some users instantly took to social media to share their views on the 'insanely high' prices of these products, but others ended up buying these products, because of their love for King Khan.
And it is no surprise that the most expensive piece (SRK's staple leather jacket) was sold out within hours after it went live.
