Someone in the US just won the highly-anticipated Powerball Jackpot by beating the odds and becoming the 1 in 292.2 million. The winning price is two billion dollars! (Talk about getting lucky).Â
The identity of the winner has not been revealed yet, but according to California Lottery, the winner bought the winning ticket from a gas station in Los Angeles County. For selling the winning ticket, the business owner of the store, Joe Chahayed,  will also receive a maximum Powerball bonus of $1 million.
To be precise, the winning person is the sole winner of the amount of 2.04 billion dollars and the lucky winning numbers were:Â 10-33-41-47-56-Power 10.

The drawing for Monday night's record Powerball Jackpot was delayed several hours because of some security protocols. The drawing then eventually took place on Tuesday evening at 7:27 pm (IST), in Tallahassee, Florida. Â
This Powerball jackpot started off at $20 million on August 6 and grew after nobody was able to win in the past few draws.
How much will the winner take home? According to Reuters, If the winner selects a lump sum cash payout, the value after the tax deduction will be $997.6 million. To take home the $2 billion sum, the winner would need to select annuity payouts over 29 years.Â
