The wait time for getting a tourist visa is always mind-numbingly long. Even though the process itself is not that complicated, the wait time in each and every step makes the process of getting a tourist visa nearly impossible for Indians. 

And once you get your application process done, don't forget that the visa can be rejected for a very minute error or sometimes, even for very unnecessary reasons. Of all the steps that make us wait: from applying for a visa, booking an appointment for an interview to get the visa, and actually getting a visa, the part where 'you book an appointment for the visa interview' takes the maximum amount of time.
