Have you ever heard of Listenbourg? It's a made-up European country taking the world by storm and throwing jabs at Americans (many of whom think it's an actual nation in the continent, btw).
The drama started with a tweet that claimed that half of Americans wouldn't know "this country" pointing to a chunk of land attached to Spain and Portugal. When another Twitter user jokingly remarked that of course, this country is the great nation of Listenbourg, many others on social media took turns in building a whole mythos around this country. So now, not only does Listenbourg's government's "Ministry of Interior" has its own Twitter handle, the country also has its made-up national anthem, flag, and a legendary king named King Listen XV.
Although meant to satirise Americans' lack of global geography, the trend also started a long list of common cliches among the majority of European countries, be it the common church designs or the several towns ending with the suffix -berg.
So, how much of Europe do you know?
