The fourth T20I between India and South Africa (SA) will take place at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Gujarat's Rajkot on Friday. SA leads the five-match series 2-1.
The Proteas won the first two matches easily, but in the third match at Visakhapatnam, the Indian side made a comeback thanks to some good performances from Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel, who took three and four wickets respectively.
The SA team will look to seal the series with a win today, while the Rishabh Pant-led side will hope to level the series.
Both the teams have some good match-winners. Here are five players to watch out for in today’s match:
DAVID MILLER
David Miller has bee in a good form this year. The SA batter scored 64 off just 31 deliveries and partnered with Rassie Van Der Dussen to chase down the target of 212 in the first game. Though Miller couldn’t deliver in the next two matches, he couldn’t be written off looking at his fabulous performance in IPL 2022.
ISHAN KISHAN
The young Indian batter has played two brilliant knocks against SA in the series so far. In the first match, he scored 76 off 48 balls giving the Indian side a powerful start. In the third match, Kishan scored 54 off 35 balls and this time the team also won the match.
SHREYAS IYER
The right-hand batter has continued his good form from the IPL. Batting at number three position, Iyer scores some quick runs. In the first match, he scored 36 off 27 balls while in the second match, he scored 40 off 35 balls.
YUZVENDRA CHAHAL
In the last match, Chahal clinched three crucial wickets of Rassie Van Der Dussen, Dwayne Pretorius and Heinrich Klassen. During his spell, the right-arm leg-break bowler conceded just 11 runs at an economy of five. His four overs today would be crucial for India today.
KAGISO RABADA
Rabada is bowling economically though he hasn’t got many wickets in this series so far. His economy has been below eight in all the three matches. The right-arm fast bowler bowls good yorkers, and with the support from Anrich Nortje and Dwaine Pretorius, he has the ability to defend any total. It would be interesting to see how Indian openers handle him
The match starts at 7pm today.
