Panchayat Season 2 climax is unexpected and will make you cry

Panchayat is back with a bang and its Season 2 is winning hearts. Social media is loaded with positive reviews of Panchayat Season 2. Many new characters have been introduced in the series, and the frustrating life of a Panchayat Sachiv (Panchayat Secretary, AKA Abhishek Triphati) played by Jitendra Kumar goes on.

This time, however, Panchayat is not just all smiles and laughter. In the new season streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Panchayat makes sure that it leaves the viewers emotional or in tears, maybe.

THE CLIMAX OF PANCHAYAT SEASON 2

In the climax of Panchayat Season 2, we see how Prahlad (Faisal Malik) loses his son (Rahul) who was in the army. Rahul, who was the only remaining member in Prahlad’s family, sacrificed his life for the country.

THE EMOTIONAL END: YAY OR NAY?

It becomes really hard to hold your tears back while watching the climax of Panchayat Season 2.

Prahlad is a carefree, happy man throughout the two seasons. Watching him break down is the most difficult part of the show.

Viewers also seem to have loved this unexpected twist and felt emotional at the same time.

BUT BUT BUT…

The climax of Panchayat is indeed heartbreaking, but it does not really go with the vibe of the show.

Sounds confusing? Try to recall Season 1 of the series...

All you can remember is: a funny fight scene, gazab bezzati hai, people fighting over slogans, parents giving weird names to their children, and, well, everything funny. In simple words, it was funny and one would probably have a big smile on their face while talking about Panchayat.

So, the viewers expected the same from the second season too.

Season 2 instead takes a U-turn and makes you emotional. The whole funny, light comedy and congenial theme are lost somewhere in the deluge of tears that accompanies the climax of Panchayat Season 2.
