Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman is being posthumously honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame along with the likes of other actors which include Michelle Yeoh and Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, etc.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce recently announced the list of stars who will get their name-engraved stars on the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard as Class of 2024. Among those names is that of late Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2018 after a long battle with colon cancer.
The actor's Instagram handle, which is managed by his family and PR team, shared a picture of the announcement with the caption, “We are so proud of you! You deserve this.”
The actor rose to stardom with his portrayal of the Wakandan Prince T'Challa AKA Black Panther, in Captain America: Civil War and then his own standalone feature Black Panther in 2018. The latter reached a new peak of recognition for how it highlighted African culture, causing a phenomenal impact around the globe.
