Himanshi Khurana leaks chat with Asim Riaz after break-up 'over religion', then deactivates Instagram

Himanshi Khurana has deactivated her social media accounts just minutes after posting her ‘final statement’ over her separation from Asim Riaz. 

The former Bigg Boss contestant had shared a screenshot of chat with her former boyfriend Asim Riaz, and said that she wanted to clarify that she respects all religions and that people should not target her or Asim for their separation. 

"I’m a secular person, not disrespecting any religion," Himanshi had said in a now-deleted post. She also shared Asim's chat with her, where Asim apparently asked her to reveal that the two come from different religions, which is the actual reason behind their break-up.

Break-up due to religion

• Himanshi’s break-up with Asim Riaz allegedly over ‘religion’ had become a topic of debate on X (formerly Twitter), with many blaming Himanshi for the 'lame excuse'.
• Many X users mocked her for being ignorant for the last four years, and only realising her religious beliefs now.
• On December 6, in a post on X, Himanshi said, “We are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs. We have nothing against each other.” 

   

• A section of people have also come out in support of Himanshi for taking the right stand.
• However, her boyfriend Asim Riaz hasn’t yet spoken on or issued any statement over their separation.

The two met on Bigg Boss set

• The two met on the set of Bigg Boss 13 in 2019, where Asim Riaz was a runner-up.
• Himanshi, who was a Punjabi actor and model, had entered the show as a wild card entry, and was eliminated within a few weeks.
• However, the two continued dating each other even after the show.
• The two were in a relationship for four years, and also appeared in a few songs together.
• Himanshi hails from Punjab’s Kiratpur Sahib, while Asim Riaz is from Jammu.
• The two had gained massive fan following on social media, and their relationship was the talk of the town. Their separation also comes as a shock for their fans.
