American rapper 50 Cent might be in some legal trouble as he hurled his microphone into the crowd during his concert in Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena on August 30, and it hit a concertgoer on the head.
The woman was left with a gruesome head injury and filed a police report against him on Wednesday night, TMZ reported.
Curtis James Jackson III, who is professionally known as 50 Cent, had joined rapper YG on stage when he threw the broken mic at the crowd in rage and frustration because he was given several mics that did not work and it clearly annoyed and triggered him.
TMZ reports that 50 Cent is now a suspect in a criminal felony battery report.
However, Bryhana Monegain told police officers that the rapper looked directly at her before hurling the mic, according to her; and that he knew she was there.
Bryhana went to the hospital with a deep cut on her head.
50 Cent's attorney Scott Leemon, told TMZ, "Let's be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis (AKA 50 Cent) would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed."
Also, a source close to the American actor and television producer told the news outlet that Bryhana Monegain wasn't supposed to be present in the restricted section, however, it's not clear how this excuses or justifies his decision to hurl a mic at the crowd.
