In the coffee advertisement, Meghan Markle is featured as a hard-working intern in each scene of the coffee ad's video that was released on Tuesday on Instagram, along with the beverage brand’s CEO, Hannah Mendoza, who gave a tour of their headquarters.
In the coffee advert, Hannah Mendoza began by saying, "I want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing Clevr team here at HQ. Without them, we are nothing." She then walked past Meghan Markle, who was in the background, and said, "our fulfillment crew lovingly packing your lattes. They’ve been listening to Britney on loop since 2002."
Mendoza then spoke from her desk as the Duchess of Sussex typed away on a computer in the background. She went on to say, "Our very smart, only slightly nerdy digital team, making sure the website doesn’t crash again like it did last year."
Several users on Instagram have commented on the video and criticized Meghan Markle for acting in the coffee ad three years after resigning from her royal duties.
