22. Jujutsu Kaisen: 0

Yuta Okkotsu gains control of an extremely powerful, cursed spirit and gets enrolled in the Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School by sorcerers to help him control his power and keep an eye on him.

Gangubai Kathiawadi dramatises its titular character's life with elegance with its lead giving her all. As expected, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's aesthetic is another highlight.

A fiery young man clashes with an unflinching forest officer in a south Indian village where spirituality, fate and folklore rule the lands.

An ambitious blend of fantastical horror, Kantara is rooted in genre-specific scares endemic to its folklore riddled with controversy.

19. Top Gun: Maverick 

After more than 30 years of service as one of the Navy's top aviators, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. 14. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

11. Barbarian

10. She Said

7. The Banshees of Inisherin

1. Athena
