It's not surprising Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt broke up

So who's surprised that Angelina Jolie has announced her divorce from Brad Pitt? Raise your hand, please?

Yes, no one is.

What begins in infidelity usually ends in infidelity.

Add to it a movie like By The Sea, directed by Jolie, which featured Pitt and Jolie alternately sighing and screaming at each other - the last famous couple that acted together in movie, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf (Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor) also ended up in divorce - and you'd be pretty sure it's not going to last.

Before Brangelina, there was Jennifer Aniston-Pitt.

Yes, we can hear Jennifer Aniston laughing, but here are six reasons we think why Brangelina are no longer a couple.

#1. She wants to rule the world, he just wants the world to have a good time. So while earlier this month Jolie visited a refugee camp in Jordan where she urged world leaders to find a solution to the Syrian crisis, Pitt spent the first part of September in Croatia, where he is negotiating a £1billion deal to build a new luxury resort in the coastal town of Zablace, complete with villas, a golf course, shops and a flagship hotel.

#2. Marion Cotillard. It appears Jolie was suspicious of the Oscar winner's closeness to Pitt while they were filming their new film, Allied. Has anyone seen Cotillard? Is anyone surprised?

#3. Six children. And they had differences over how to raise them. We would have never guessed.

#4. They were together for 12 years and married two years ago. One word. Why ruin a good thing?

#5. Has anyone seen how long famous couples have lasted? And we don't want to hear about unicorns like Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward who lasted 50 years until Newman's death.

#6. His facial hair.
