Amitabh Bachchan is a good choice as an ambassador for Incredible India.
He's as apolitical as it gets. Like a few hours ago, he was asked for his opinion about the FTII issue and he refused to comment. Few months back, in an interview with Arnab Goswami, he was asked for his view on the beef ban issue. He reacted with surprise and asked Arnab, is beef banned? Those were the days when the beef ban issue was omnipresent in all discussions. With a Rajya Sabha MP as wife, such feigned display of ignorance must be rewarded. And the likes of Aamir Khan who dare to express an opinion must be castigated for having an opinion in the first place.
Incredible India indeed; where the larynx, popularly known as the voice box, is a vestigial organ much like the appendix.

On Twitter the not-so tolerant views:
Bizarre & openly-biased move by govt.! @aamir_khan is one of the most credible people around. 'Incredible India' campaign will lose out!

Tourism ministry sources claim that decision has nothing to do with @aamir_khan view on intolerance instead contract has ended.

Of course there is NO intolerance. That is why Modi's govt could not tolerate #AamirKhan as brand ambassador of #incredibleindia!

Will "Tolerant" culture minister Mahesh Sharma replace @aamir_khan with @AnupamPkher as brand ambassador of tourism?

Aamir Khan no longer the brand ambassador for Incredible India campaign. Do not miss the inherent irony ! https://t.co/rIVJVg1Ybh
