Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Facebook headquarters for a Townhall question and answer session on September 27. Modi is scheduled to be in the US from September 23 to 28 and will attend meetings at the United Nations.
"I'm excited to announce that Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India will be visiting Facebook HQ later this month for a Townhall Q&A. Prime Minister Modi and I will discuss how communities can work together to address social and economic challenges," Zuckerberg wrote on his Facebook page.
Inviting questions from his followers the co-founder of the online social networking giant said, "We want to hear your questions. Please ask them in the comments below and we'll try to get to as many as possible."
Modi is also expected to visit Google and the factory floor of auto major Tesla in Fremont, both in Silicon Valley, but those visits are yet to be confirmed.
During his maiden trip to India in October last year, Zuckerberg had met Modi to discuss digital expansion in the country.
PM Modi discussed with him the use of social media in checking terror activities and a host of other issues. Zuckerberg had expressed his interest in working with the government in the areas of healthcare and education.
